Commonwealth Games 2022, Destination Durban.

It is a matter of great pride for the World Memon Organisation and the Memon Community that WMO President, Mr. Sulliman Noor Mahomed was a distinguished member of the elite South African contingent which successfully bid for the Durban Commonwealth Games 2022.

Mr. Solly Noor was personally invited by the South African Minister of Sports, the honourable Mr. Fikile Mbalula to be a part of the Bid Committee for the Commonwealth and Olympics games.

AS THIS PROMINENT ANTI APARTHEID ACTIVIST SIMPLY ANSWERS ANOTHER CALL OF DUTY TOWARDS HIS MOTHERLAND, WE CAN ONLY FEEL INSPIRED TO HAVE MR. SULLIMAN NOOR MAHOMED LEAD ANOTHER REVOLUTION TO ERADICATE POVERTY IN OUR COMMUNITY.

The next target is to host the Olympics in South Africa. A rare feat as the games have never reached the shores of Africa.

We congratulate Durban, a city often called the soul of Africa on being chosen as host for the Commonwealth Games and we firmly support the South African bid for the Olympics 2024.

As this prominent anti apartheid activist simply answers another call of duty towards his motherland, we can only feel inspired to have Mr. Sulliman Noor Mahomed lead another revolution to eradicate poverty in our community.
